Product Description

Back again in her summer uniform!!! Konata Izumi from the popular 'Lucky Star' series is here once again, this time wearing her summer uniform! Using the smooth yet poseable joints of figma, you can act out various scenes. A flexible plastic is used for the uniform and skirt, allowing proportions to be kept, without compromising posability. Various hand parts are included, also with all new hands such as a hand for holding items and the 'thumbs-up' hand. A expression ideal for Konata is included, as well as the expression from the opening theme when she shouts 'dadada'. A blank face with stickers is also included for you to make your own expression. A head part for Konata's younger cousin Yutaka Kobayakawa is included, as well as a bag to carry all Konata's otaku purchases. As always, all the face parts can be used with all the previous Lucky Star figmas. A poseable figma stand is included, which allows various poses to be taken. Height approx 13cm.

5Konata Figma
By Rin
I bought this Figma for my boyfriend as a Christmas present from Proshop Japan off of Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised that it came so early! Really, she's adorable and very high quality. The amount of attention to detail in this product is just great. She comes with an alternate facial expression, a blank face with a sticker sheet so you can create your own unique face and Yutaka's head. She also comes with 4 sets of hands (5 with the standard hands.) and a hand holding a shopping bag. She's very flexible and the joints are very fluid in their movements so it's simple to get her into a number of different poses with or without the stand. Obviously, this is not a child's toy and should be handled with care, otherwise I assume it's possible to break her. Due to how delicate her features are and how finely crafted she is, the breakage problem that other people have encountered should be expected, as Konata is not meant to be handled like a 3 year old's Barbie doll. I'm not going to rate this down because of breakage issues people have encountered, due to my own personal assumption that they were probably too rough with her.

Overall, if you like to collect high quality Figma, or just plain enjoy Lucky Star, she's worth the money. Do not buy her as a gift for a child or she will get broken.

5Konata Izumi!
By Herschel Frank
The people of the Figma series sure made these amazing anime figures, especially Lucky Star's Konata! the amount of details and accuracy are very well done, like she jumped out of the show. It's also nice to include an extra head of Yutaka to expand the Lucky Star universe!
Now I've been hearing complaints about how fragile the figures are, I'd decided to keep her inside the box to avoid these incidents, better safer than sorry. But if you want to pose her or change the hands/faces/heads, be extra careful and try not to exceedingly move her around as they will soon break off.

But overall, if you're a fan of Lucky Star or just figures in general, grab this Konata figure (as well with Kagami, Tsukasa, and Miyuki) before they'll be hard to find, becoming over-priced or even be long gone!
